Movies Inception Most overrated movie ever

Most overrated movie ever

Posted by sneaky324

I can't believe how this is rated so high. It wasn't original at all (dream within a dream yay, matrix anyone)

And not to mention couple of "twists" it was just unoriginal action flick.

Must be the Nolan dickriders overrating... just like dark knight/rises both are overrated.

You are unoriginal, coming two years after, claiming something that thousand before have already claimed. And with the same stupid reasons. Nothing of sufficiency to back up your "overrated" remark.

Comparing the state of mind in Matrix with that in Inception, proves that you didn't understand Matrix as well :P . They have nothing in common.

The different directions the story takes and the layering of plots is an original way to go about it. No, the ideas in their simplest forms are not original (oh, and Matrix wasn't close to being the first one to do it or even the first to do it the way they did it, The Invisibles anyone?).

And if you only saw it as an action flick, you didn't pay much attention to the film and just wanted to hate it because you find all of Nolan's films overrated (speaking of, why would you bother to watch them if you don't like them?).

I have to agree with the OP that it is overrated (though I disagree with their "unoriginaL" claim). While Inception is a good movie, it's not this all time great masterpiece, it is overrated. I found it very confusing (yea, watched it multiple times and I do get it) and I really hated the is it a dream or isn't aspect of everything.
