The Only Good 'Pirates' Movie?
In my opinion, the movies started going downhill after the first one. Curse of the Black Pearl is the only film I can watch over and over again. The sequels are mediocre at best.

I like these cheesy pirate adventure movies. They never get old for me.
I actually really liked them all but the third one is kind of ridiculous. I enjoyed the 4th one too, I'm glad they refreshed the story with new characters, it worked. Filmmakers hardly ever do that, they always try to re-cast actors instead of taking a chance on new characters and being creative. They very easily could have hired different actors to play Elizabeth and Will and that would have been dumb, since the Will and Elizabeth story finished nicely in the 3rd movie.
