So I let my Son watch this?
First things first?
Jaws is the greatest film of all time in my opinion, I love every part of it and since I saw it as a child I developed a fascination with great white shark's?
My Son has had the same love for shark's since he was born he's 8 now but nearly 9, we both love them and he reads book's over and over again.
I gave in and I watched Jaws with him last night as he has been asking about my love for the film (I have a Mcfarlane model etc lol) He know's that GW's are protected and that they are not man eater's but he really loved the film and I was proud to watch it with him, I first saw it with my Father when I was a kid and he is no longer with us,
Sorry for the rant but I think this film is still amazing and we went shopping today at Matalan (in the UK) and we see a Jaws t-shirt? In his size there was only one lol we bought it and he's happy.
Sorry for doing everyone's head in but after 39 years this film still matter's and I love it.

Nice story. By the way I got a Jaws t-shirt in Primark a couple years back. I didn't know they now do them in Matalan haha.

One of my favorite memories was watching this on t.v with my older sister at age 7 :)
Hell its been 20 years and we still love the Jaws series. Well........the sequels for nostalgia reasons lol.
I plan on watching again with my sister and my nephew. Good times ahead.

I was your son's age when I first watched Jaws with my Mom. It was the ABC Sunday night movie on TV.... maybe 1979?
We both yelled at the Ben Gardner scene and my Dad was not happy as he was trying to sleep.
Anyway, it is one of my best memories of Mom. She rarely had time to sit down and have a little fun. I think that's why I love Jaws to this day. :)
