Wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be
Interesting story with some great ideas. Just wasn't creepy enough for me, the "dead people" just looked bad. The storyline was pretty predictable from the beginning, the kill switch kind of gave it away. I don't know if the back and fourth between the present and past worked.

I know they didn't actually go back and fourth just the execution of the back and fourth became confusing and messy after a while. After reading a few threads looks like I'm not alone, the whole plot didn't make sense either.
She was recording everything on cameras but the manifestations never get recorded, hence that scene where she has to hold her camera phone to see if its fake. So what was the point of recording? If nothing is getting recorded, its just them doing weird stuff on camera.

I don't think they actually went back in the past, I believe the mirror was just making them hallucinate. Overall, I really enjoyed it though. I didn't really mind the way the ghost people looked and didn't find it predictable really. I'd prob give it a 4/5
