Prometheus and Snowpiercer POLL

Very good synopsis. I really disliked Prometheus as well but appreciated Snowpiercer. Prometheus had awesome visuals but no substance to the characters or story. Very paint by numbers script. Snowpiercer had a lot of interesting characters and, while the story wasn't perfect, you didn't know what was going to happen next.

I think you are failing to grasp the second word in the genre - Science Fiction. List any science-based movie, good or bad, and I'll point out their fallacies as well. Again, this is what makes movies.


Would be honestly fascinated to learn if anyone liked Prometheus and hated Snowpiercer or vice/versa. I hated both and thought they were two of the worst sci/fi films I've ever seen.

I liked both. However, I don't see any comparison between the movies besides their loosely fitted genre, so why the comparison? A couple of the worst sci-fi movies that come to my mind are: Anything by Michael Bay.

Snowpiercer is WAY better!

I like both and think they are very different but the writing and overall tone puts Snowpiercer above for me.
