Of all the things to break suspension of disbelief...
Eva's eye color changed between the two actresses. Would it have been so difficult to change Charlotte's eye color? Seriously?
Outside of that, I was floored by Atwell's performance. She was amazing here.
Oh, and (British) fashion choices in the '70s was dubious at best. *shudders*

It wasn't just the eye colour. Eva must have gone down several bra cup sizes in 30 years too. Hayley Atwell is rather comfortably upholstered while Charlotte Rampling makes a bean-pole look fat.
However, the whole thing was very well done and had me guessing right up to the end.

Actually, I don't know Rampling at all... and I have no clue as to what she looked like 40 years ago.

We all know what Rampling looked like when she was young and it was nothing like Atwell. Why quibble over one difference among many?
Gambon and Sewell don't look alike either. You just have to live with such things.
