Something I never quite understood with this movie
How did Scar ruin the land? Even if Hyenas are in the Prideland the water shouldn't become scarce and the tree's shouldn't die. How did Simba make the land prosperous again? I feel like only mother nature can control drought. Was the environment just meant to be pathetic fallacy & to show the difference in the rulings? Because I could actually never wrap my head around this.
Besides that, the Lion King is still one of the greatest movies ever. I decided to watch it yesterday, and I didn't know that I was watching the adv version until Zazu started singing "the Morning Report" which is a God awful song. I'm so glad it was cut from the original. So out of place and random.
