What did you find profoundly enriching about 'Prometheus'?

Many people all over the Internet claim that they 'got' something from 'Prometheus' and even though I've tried my very best efforts to have them articulate what it was they 'got' I'm left still feeling it was an empty experience.
So, feel free to post away with what you loved about 'Prometheus' and its story :)
