Why did this movie take so long to come out?

It looks like the film was finished last year but delayed multiple times. Anybody know why?

It looks like according to IMDB, the movie was yanked from its original release date due to mass shootings then rescheduled for March 13th, 2020 to then be affected drastically at the box office by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
This movie had the worst luck...
