Lincoln's Sexuality
Serious scholarship suggests that Lincoln may have been gay. I think it would be cool if that were ever proven. He is such a beloved figure.

I read it and I'll use this as a point. Not only is this poor revisionist history but some of these examples are just ignorant. So I'm to assume he was possibly gay b/c he called someone a "personal friend?" I guess I got to ditch all my guys nights and any events involving the same sex. I don't want anyone to think I was gay, especially my wife. Which she would love to hear I'm sure.
The fact is that it's not widely believed, even the article suggests it's a few individuals.
Don't worry though, it's going to be at some point in the future that all our leaders through-out history were gay. I don't even have a problem with a president being gay, it's just not so with Lincoln. Nothing but spin here.
